Mission Statement:
The goal of the Chapter Golf Outing is to provide resources for our Scholarship program, funding academic opportunities for children of Facilities Department staff members. Additionally, camaraderie and relationship building enhance the professional network and provide Facilities Directors opportunities to interact with solution providers.
Mission Statement:
The Holiday committee’s purpose is to utilize the monthly December meeting of the SCSFA to celebrate, and honor the support staff involved in the school facilities operation. Associate, and active committee members work hard to transform the meeting into a fun event including holiday themes, lunch, and dancing. The event also allows the SCSFA to support several charities including the hope house foundation, and Saint Christopher Ottilie.
Mission Statement:
On an annual basis, the Scholarship Committee awards merit and need-based monetary awards to the graduating High School sons and daughters of Facilities Department staff. Scholarship applications are due in April of each year, and applications are available on the Chapter website or through Facilities Directors in each district.
Mission statement:
To promote professional development of SCSFA members and member’s districts’ staff by creating an annual full-day training program that enhances the practical and technical proficiency of facilities staff. Offering a catalog of training classes and hands-on workshops targeting custodial, maintenance and grounds supervisory and professional staffs. The Expo provides attendees an opportunity to see firsthand and learn about new products emerging technologies and techniques.

Charged with researching the best way our chapter might create a consortium of contracts which participating directors and their districts can share.
